The Oinoussian Maritime Museum’s Calendar 2003 Oinoussai: the land and the sea was published in the context of the first exhibition on shipping journalism, “Reporting on shipping”: The course of Greek shipping over the 20th century”. The Calendar is divided into three thematic sections, each of them covering a four-month period. The first presents the Oinoussian Maritime Museum and a small part of its exhibits. The second comprises the photographs of Ali Sami Bey, which depict landmarks and views of Oinoussai during thw inter-war period and are published in their entirety for the first time. The third contains photographs of Oinoussian ships from before and after World War II. At the beginning of each section there is a short explanation on the photographs they contain.
